Collective Worship
Collective worship lies at the heart of daily life in our Church of England primary school and reflects our Christian vision and values. It provides a special time for pupils and staff to come together as a worshipping community, to explore the teachings of Jesus and to grow in faith, understanding, and reflection.
Through Bible stories, prayer, music, and moments of stillness, collective worship supports pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development. It encourages children to reflect on God’s love, develop compassion for others, and consider how Christian values such as love, forgiveness, hope, and respect can guide their daily lives.
Our collective worship is inclusive and invitational, offering opportunities for all children to engage at a level appropriate to their own beliefs, while nurturing a strong sense of belonging within our Christian community.
