School Council
All about the School Council...
Who we are, what we do, and what we've achieved:
Norley Church of England School Council is made up of one child from each year group, representing their peers. Electuions are held each September for these important roles.
Our school Council hold regular meetings to discuss school issues and to come up with solutions that work for everyone.
The PTFA work closely with the School Council enabling pupils' ideas to be brought to life. The often help to fund any equyipment that needs replacing. This year they are supporting thereplacement of some of the playground equipment and making sure there is something for everyone to enjoy when outside.
The School Council organise charity events such as Children in Need, Sport Relief or raising money for local charities. They research charities and talk to the rest of the school about how we can support them. Recently, the invited someone in from St Luke's Hospice to talk about the great work they do there. The school council organised a Christmas jumper day and raised £65. They are planning to visit the Hospice to see how the money has been spent first hand
