CDAT Art Days

Being part of Chester Diocese Academies Trust (CDAT) has brought many wonderful opportunities for our children to work alongside pupils from other schools and share their learning experiences.

Our most recent opportunity was an exciting collaborative art day, where the children explored Gelli printing. They created some beautiful prints inspired by our church, and the finished pieces are truly impressive!

On the second day, the children reflected on the words of some of the hymns we sing in school. They chose Shine, Jesus, Shine and My Lighthouse to explore what the lyrics meant to them personally. Grace and Evie produced a beautiful piece of artwork each expressing what the hymns mean to them.

These experiences are a lovely example of how being part of CDAT enables our children to learn together, develop their creativity and express their thoughts and faith in different ways.
