Weaver Words Competition Winners

Way back in February our key stage 2 classes entered the Weaver Words Literacy Festival Competition.  The children had to write a letter about an event they had witnessed.

Unfortunately, this brilliant literature festival could not go ahead due to Covid-19, but this didn’t stop the organisers from recognising the hard work of our pupils.  We are very grateful that they decided to go ahead with the competition, picking winners from our school.  The children received a certificate and a book voucher for their writing.

Although there have been many disappointments due to Covid-19, it has been lovely that on the whole our children have not missed out on the recognition they deserve.
