Welcome from the Headteacher, Helen Kelly
I feel incredibly proud to be the head teacher of Norley CE Primary School and to be part of a dedicated team where the education and happiness of the children is our priority. We have created an environment based on Christian Values where 'The love of God shines through us by the work of our hands'. This mission statement is reflected in everything we do.
At Norley we value teaching your children and we keep up with the latest initiatives in order to give the children the best possible start in their education and firm foundations on which to build. We are proud of our new Thematic Curriculum that encourages creativity and collaborative working. We recognise that children are individuals and have different styles of learning - and therefore we plan differentiated lessons. This allows all children to flourish and achieve their full potential.
Our staff, governors, parents and the church work together to ensure our children receive the best possible education, enabling them to develop spiritually, emotionally, socially and academically. The children of Norley CE Primary School are exceptional and we feel lucky to be a part of their education and future.
You are warmly invited to visit our school but feel free to browse our website to find out more about the school, staff, the children, the caring Christian ethos, the wide range of activities in which our school engages and the first-class education we are committed to deliver.
In our most recent Ofsted inspection ( May 2014) Inspectors reported that ‘Pupils reach standards which are consistently above the national average by the end of key stage two'. This school is special because the teachers care and everyone looks after each other. The curriculum provides pupils with a wide range of opportunities to extend their learning.’
